World Likud under the direction and influence of missionary Joel Bell

Excerpts of Joel Bell at the inauguration of the World Biblical Zionists in their November 2008 tour of Israel. Bell sits on the Board of Governors of the World Likud and he regularly encourages evangelical, messianic, and ephraimite cults to claim their portion of the Land of Israel. Listen as he tells the Jews, “This isn’t a Christian thing. This isn’t a religious thing…” – and then you decide.

Yes, Sharbano, you are correct and in my 12-week seminar we go over the issue of redefining terms. I am currently working on editing MP3s of my classes, so far I have 2 or 3 up on my website. www.shomreiemet.org more coming soon.

Point fully understood. BTW, that describes Amelek's tactics to a tee. Hence the masquerade on Purim. Hashem Ya'azor.

Chag Same'ach.

My point was that they attempt to take xtianity and put a Jewish face on it in an attempt gain legitimacy. As has been said, you can put lipstick on a pig. This is maybe even more of a problem. It's like the term Judeo-Xtian is used to combine the two as being equal. I have yet to find a xtian who really can see how the two are so different. It's night and day. The entire theology seems to originate with the changing of the most basic terms. By changing the definitions anything is possible in creating a system of theology. I've given some thought to this idea lately and wondered if it wouldn't be a possible starting point in educating people.

I'll take a shot at this.

Keep your eye on the ball. Ephraimites have the same base theology as all of Christianity. Jesus is their savior. Whether there is a trinity or not, the NT spells out some general characteristics that are common to all christians.

The trend in using Torah terms for their diety's name is irrelevant. There are even those that claim that the Tetragrammaton is an acronym which refers or aludes to Jesus' name.

Some even say that they shouldn't reference their deity by the name Jesus, claiming the name is a false concoction. They go into tongue tying games of arguing whether his real name was Yehoshua, Yahwshua, Yeshua, yada yada.

Who cares! Like I said, keep your eye on the ball.

Who are they praising, jc or G-d. Probably the former. It always gets me when these people will "try" and use G-d's Holy name. Would they go up to the Queen and say "Hey Liz, what's up". I bet they wouldn't be around too long. In ancient times they'd probably have their heads cut off. They can't even understand what "respect" is. I'd say, they have No respect for Hashem, whatsoever.
